Lovely little bible, perfect for smoko at work, and to have with you ready.
Nice soft leather, the ribbon on mine was a touch short but thats no big fuss. Print is small, fine by me but may be a problem for some with poorer sight.
Excellent quality all round, amazing they can sell it for pocket change.
Nice soft cover and, most importantly, it fits in my coat pocket! The print is small, but readable. Perfect Bible to bring with you all day long!
I LOVE THIS BIBLE!!!! It is so awesome! Just the right size for me now & I wasn’t sure that I would like the small font but it actually adds to its appeal. The overall workmanship & construction is top notch. I see myself using this Bible for years to come. This Bible has already replaced my primary go-to Bible & I have only had it for a few days.
There is two features I would add/change to make this probably the greatest Bible ever in my opinion. One is pretty minor and entirely cosmetic. I would prefer that the Bible be one piece instead of three because I do not particularly like the curved piece on the front and back that has stitching. The second which I am not sure is possible with a bible this size is to have a thumb index. Those two things would be the icing on the cake, but even so I would recommend this to anyone.
I have a classmate who has this Bible, and it is an awesome looking and very good Bible, and I have no problem with the small print, only that this Bible is still big… I mean I have another classmate, who has the same printing Bible, but not that big margin, and its also from this website, but now I dont find it… do you know when are those coming in?
I couldn’t believe how beautiful this bible is; however I can’t use it because the print is so very very small, even with my glasses it is uncomfortable to read. Please, please publish this bible in larger print. The size is so wonderful to handle, the paper is so nice to the touch, and the cover and quality is excellent.
This bible like all LCBP bibles is TOP quality from cover to cover. I bought this bible to take to work also. The print is small, but it has wide margins. It is what it is though, a well made compact bible that should offer years of service. I would recommend any of LCBP bibles, all made in USA and very reasonably priced.
I am a bit disappointed in this bible. The quality is amazing, of course, but the print is tiny – 6-point at most. I have purchased three bibles from LCBP in the past two months and this is the only one I am not totally in love with.
I purchased this one as an “at work companion” to the Mid-sized Note-takers Bible (which is the best bible I have ever owned) and the font is just too small in the Compact Wide Margin. I ended up purchasing at Barnes & Noble a Hendrickson KJV Royal Wedding compact bible which fulfills the purpose for which I wanted a compact.
I really, really like the pronunciation guide in this Compact Wide Margin.
I like the overall size of this Bible however the print is very small. I would prefer a smaller margin and larger font. The top grain cowhide cover is beautiful and does not feel slippery in your hand.
I bought this Bible so I could take it to work with me. The size of this Bible is wonderful. I can stick it in a coat/shirt/pants pocket and that makes it truly convenient.
The cover of this Bible is beautiful. It is a soft and pliable cowhide cover. I’m sure that with use, it will become even more so.
It has one ribbon marker, and I generally like at least two, however that doesn’t affect how much I like this Bible. I can use my own ribbons.
In addition to the letter to King James and the Epistle dedicatory, it contains a 21 page pronunciation guide for words found in a pronuncing Bible, names, places, etc. There are no pronunciation marks in the regular text itself, so this is a handy feature.
Other than that, you get the Words of God. No maps, no concordance, no references. It has smaller print, which you would expect from a Bible containing both the OT and the NT in a compact version with wide margins. If you have bad eyesight, this probably isn’t a good buy for you. If you have glasses or can read small print well enough, then I highly recommend this Bible. As to the margins, they are comfortably large enough to leave your own references and notes.
I have to say that I love this portable Bible. It can go anywhere with you and not take up too much space. It doesn’t weigh all that much either, coming in at less than a pound. I am planning on buying another one or two for family.
Ultimately, I would recommend this to anyone. It’s well worth the price.
