Bibles These are both the same text and they are also known as the Standard text. It is an out-of-print Cambridge text, determined to be ‘pure’ by Mr. Verschuur, a young and ambitious Pentecostal man from Australia. His research is fairly exhaustive, and he is to be commended for it. But his conclusions, that the Cambridge text he uses is in all points superior to other Cambridge texts, cannot be defended, at every point. On these points he relies on his ‘Pentecostal’ experiences to defend them, as described in his book, “Guide to the Pure Cambridge Edition of the King James Bible.” For more information, please contact us. No. We do not carry the PCE because it lowercases the “s” in I John 5:8 and we believe, based on the context of I John 5:6, the “Spirit” should be capitalized. Please see this letter from Cambridge. For more information, please contact us. All of our Bibles use the Cambridge text except for those labeled as “Classic,” which uses the Oxford text. For more information, please contact us. The only difference between each type of leather is the texture. The Basic series is cowhide, the Designer series is top grain cowhide and theExecutive series is ironed calfskin. They’re each very soft and top quality. The Basic and Designer series are quite similar, Designer leather being a bit softer. The Executive series, being ironed, has a very smooth leather because, the grain has been ironed out. We have three styles of leather. Our Basic Series which is high quality genuine leather. This series of leather cost less than the other tow, but is in no wise less quality. Our Designer Series which is high quality cowhide leather. It has a smooth texture and is softer and more flexible than the Basic Series. Our Executive Series which is high quality calfskin leather. This is our softest leather to the touch. This is our most popular and most expensive leather. Morocco is goat skin. It used to be the preferred leather but it is stiffer. Most of our leathers are more supple and hold up just as well or better. Yes, the Mid Size Text Wide Margin Center Column Reference is our Red Letter edition. The Bible text styles 400, 390, 355, 300, 230, 215, 180, 120 (regular and red letter), and 110. Subject to change. Yes. Our Bibles have seven “spine ridges” or “seals”, but the top and bottom do not usually show. We do not stock any children’s Bibles with pictures. We only publish text King James Bibles. The title ‘Scofield’ is a registered trademarked by Oxford University Press; our Classic Bible is a reprint of the 1909, 1917 public domain Bible using C.I. Scofield’s notes. We do not rebind Bibles, but we can suggest that you call Norris Bookbinding at 888-213-2586 or e-mail them at norris@norrisbookbinding.com At this time, we only offer the Large Print Bible with the indexing. When we enlarge the typesize, it is not possible to produce a small book. The pages of the Bible would be too thin and it would not be possible to turn them.
